Denon Avr 2803/sony Lcd Set Up Query

HAVE RECENTLY UPGRADED MY AGEING PANNY CRT WITH A SONY KDL-32D3000. PREVIOUSLY I USED THE AV3 OPTION ON THE CRT TO DISPLAY THE 2803'S ON SCREEN SET UP DISPLAY USING A PHONO TO PHONO CONNECTION.

HAVE TRIED THIS METHOD ON THE SONY TO BE GREETED WITH A BLANK SCREEN AND A HUMMING SOUND COMING FROM THE SPEAKERS.

ANY IDEAS ON HOW TO CONNECT THE AMP TO THE SONY TO VIEW THE SET UP MENUS WOULD BE MUCH APPRECIATED!

Well, I've finally resolved this one myself so I thought I would post a reply in case anyone else out there is experiencing the same headache.

Initially I e-mailed Sony via the address they quoted on an information package provided with the panel. Their reply was a very helpful 'we don't give advice on third party products!' A bit lame if you ask me - Thanks Sony!

Anyway it occurred to me that what I was trying to do was to display an image via through my panel. Looked for the camcorded connection (AV6), plugged the connecting lead in from the amp and...problem solved!
