Hi, i have a pair of mission m34i's running through a denon avr 1707. my problem is that when i bought them i read that the recommended amp power is between 25-150 watts at 8ohm, and the amp is 75watt per ch at 8 ohm. i just read on missions faq that the amp should be close as possible to 150 watt per ch, or you could damage your speakers and amp. (Reference 1)

Details of the amp (reference 2) and speakers (reference 3) are listed below.

Now my questions are.

1. Will the amp be ok even when pushing it hard without the risk of causing any damage to the speakers or itself.

2. If not what would be better, buying a new amp, or getting a poweramp.

3. Is there any recommended amps to power them. I'll spend what i have to but would prefer not to go over £300 but will do whats needed not to damage the speakers.

4. whats the defference between when an amp is rated 2x70 per ch (8 ohm) and 2x70 per ch (8ohm, RMS)
