imac refresh rate query for the experts.

Hi all,

As a recent convert to mac and delighted thus far, I have noticed something a little annoying on my i-mac.

Flicker, something like a poor refresh rate, sometimes like a pulse. Bottom third of the screen. Sure it was not there the other day.

Anything I can do to make it go away as it is winding me right up.

Any help gratefully recd as I cant find a refresh type thing. it is a 24" i mac at its highest resolution. (default I think).

Pete.
