Hi, I have an Audigy ZS Notebook soundcard in my laptop which I have used regularly under XP with no probs. However, I recently went to Vista(dont ask
) and although the card works, none of the Creative software that comes with the card works now.I have sent numerous emails to creative about this and they have gave me some advice but nothing that has worked. The latest advice is to try installing on another computer but this is not an easy option. Ive been advised to disable the onboard soundcard in the BIOS but after not being able to see an option in the BIOS I contacted my manufacturer only to find out it cannot be done in BIOS. I was then advised to disable the onboard sound in device manager but I had already tried this. Ive downloaded all the latest drivers and BIOS updates from my manufacturer and am now at a complete loss. As soon as I try to open the MediaSource apllication Vista says it has encountered a problem and has to close. Could someone give me any advice on this please? It would be greatly appreciated. Many Thanx in advance |
