AVS-3005x1 Large Pan & Tilt Question?

I have just bought one of these tonight, just a quickie for someone who owns one, can you push the tv back onto the wall on either side of the hinge? On the diagram is shows the tv pushed to the left of the bracket, just wondering if you can push it to the right of the bracket as my tv is going in the left corner of the room?? Thanks in advance
