The Z has 100Hz, the XF doesn't.

Re: Whats best Toshiba 46XF355DB or Toshiba 47Z3030DB

ΧF has much higher real life contrast and better blacks due to the S-PVA panel it uses (same with upmarket Sony and Samsung models) instead of the LG S-IPS panel Z series have.

As a result color reproduction is more accurate and natural. Also the design is more upmarket. So i would say the XF.

If you've got around £1200 check out the Toshiba 46ZF355DB, better than both and currently £1299 on Amazon, probably less elsewhere...

Did you decide yet? I'm also torn between both these as they're a similar price on Amazon. 46ZF355DB is probably the best of both worlds but more than I want to pay!

Re: Whats best Toshiba 46XF355DB or Toshiba 47Z3030DB

Nope.

Don't think so. Pretty sure that the B is for UK models.

Sure that someone will be aalong to correct me though.

Re: Whats best Toshiba 46XF355DB or Toshiba 47Z3030DB

they have a matt finish, i looked at the z but the guy in currys said they have quite a high power consumption compared to the samsungs of similar spec and price.
