What should I get?

Ok my PC is upstairs and my screen etc is downstairs, I want to access my downloaded stuff from my PC , TV programs, hopefully ripped DVDs etc so I can sit downstairs drop my screen and put my projector on I then want to be able to access the stuff off my PC to watch it, was looking at a keyboard mouse combo, but was wondrring do I really need both, the logitech air mouse looks great and Im thinking this maybe all I need. Also will I still be able to use a seperate wireless keyboard and mouse upstairs (not at the same time) or will there be issues at having 2 mice installed on 1 PC?
