Dead Mordaunt Short Genie 409W Subwoofer?

Watched some films last weekend all was fine, I started to watch a rather rubbish film last night. The blue light on the front came on as usual but no sound come from sub. Ive had a quick look around the forums and checked both fuses, they both seem fine.
Im sure unit is now just over 2 years old not really good enought if its dead as the sub is the heart of the genie package.
Can these units be repaired or im i looking at a new sub if i can fine one sold separately
Thx

Re: Dead Mordaunt Short Genie 409W Subwoofer?

Ive had a reply for MS today and they sugest somthing is seriously amiss and the unit will need service attention.
The issue now is do i spend x amount with a local shop trying to get the thing fixed and possably end up further down or bite the bullet and buy a new unit from with MS or another firm.
Would it be that hard to find somthing that matches in looks and will blend with the sound from the genies as ive lost a little faith in MS.
