Has anybody bought one of these,i need one for my new 42TW29, but am not sure what height it will make the TV.Are there any other similar looking stands that will do the job or is this my only option.

Got one with my set a few months back... no probs with it at all, picture still looks great even with the set slightly elevated like this. Got a 2 year old and this does a brilliant job of keeping the various boxes and wires out of the way..... looks smart in my opinion too!

Radish any chance you could do me a big favour and get the measuring tape out and post what height the stand makes the TV.

Its 55 inches, and yes the wifes pleased too!!......

It fits my DVD, Video and Sky boxes with no problems. I think I`ve attached a picture to give u some idea (not quite David Bailey)......

BTW i`m realy pleased with the set.... couldn`t of asked for more.

I have the cabinet and it makes the TV too high and dominates the room.

Ideally I would like to cut the cabinet in nhalf so it will take Sky box and video.

Amp and DVD are 15 metres away connected by component leads.

If you need 3 or more boxes in cabinet then you have to stick with it.

I have promised my wife I will cut it down.

(sometime)

However it is a nicely made cabinet. Also having the height helps with the darkness problem when you stand up (viewing angle problem)

Blimey...where is the Amp and DVD player then.....???....in the shed........???

If you have a lounge this big.....i would of thought a Tosh 50" RP would look like a portable.

I have a 42" and my room is only 13' by 12' and it looks just right in here.

My lounge is 13' x 22'.

The amp and DVD are 15 metres away because the TV is on one corner of the room, so they go along under the patio window, along 2/3rd of the next wall.

A 50" would look nice in my opinion but I am not the only person in the house!!!

Believe me, I've done well to get the 42" in, expecially bearing in mind the stand it is on! (plus the speakers, sub etc!!
