hd-xa2 picture and sound settings query

hey all!

i have been fiddling around with my hd-ax2 and was wondering what the optimal settings would be.

for my 427xd display i was wondering what settings i should have for:
enhanced black level; rgb output range and picture mode.

currently i have it set as follows
black level OFF, RGB range STANDARD and picture mode AUTO.

what difference is there between standard and enhanced for rgb range and what does the picture mode do?

i have a pio ax4 amp set for 5.1, the player is attached to this via hdmi.
should i just accept the default audio settings?

sorry for all these questions, i'm a hd-dvd newbie!

Hi mate

Black level OFF
RGB,standard..........( Enhanced is for DVI connection only).
Picture mode AUTO.........auto selects,HD DVD,DVD,DVD RW,etc.
Audio settings.
Digital Out SPDIF---> Bitstream
Digital out HDMA---->Auto
Digital Direct Audio Mode----->On
Dynamic Range Control------>Off
Dialog Enhancement------>Off
Speaker Setting------>5.1ch

not quite sure what 'Digital Direct Audio Mode' is though! but i have enabled it!
