Where are the screensaver files located?

I want to add a screen saver to replace the boring ones that come with XP Pro. But cannot remember where it has to be put for it to be recognized by display properties.

Any decent sites for free screensavers, without all the notoriety that many come with would be welcome as well

C:\WINDOWS\system32

Although, you can place them anywhere. All you have to do is right click on the SCR file and click Install. It will then (or should) install the screensaver file to the correct location.

n Windows 3.1: Go to your "Main" group and double click on "Control Panel". Then double click on "Desktop". The screen saver section is the third box down. In Windows 95 or NT: Click on Start, then choose settings, then control panel. Double click on "Display" and select the "Screen Saver" tab.
