Freeview Question

I bought my dad a Pace FreeView box for Christmas and after plugging it is and switching it on, it seems to work fine.

Except

There is no BBC1 or BBC2 on it. They are not even listed on the EPG.

Can anybody think of a reason for this when all the other channels are there and work fine?

OK, a guess:

You haven't searched and stored the channel line-up.
You haven't installed the correct TV aerial for the channel used by the BBC multiplex?
You haven't connected it with the correct double-shielded coaxial cable?
