SAMSUNG HT-X30 DVD Home Cinema.

I am having a lot of trouble with the Audio Sync on this system. Playing a DVD all OK but trying to play anything else, including the TV through it, is impossible. The audio sync keeps going out and just won't "lock in".
Does anyone know a fix for this problem please? It seems to be in the software? Can it be sorted

dont use optical audio for connecting the tv,to the home cinema.
if your tv,has audio out phonos(red/white),use them instead,if you cant adjust the sync issues.
there was a firmware update for samsung tv's,but it works for some,and not for others.
as far as the surround system goes,no firmware updates for that though.
