iLife '08 problems

None of it updates even though it says there's an update everytime i open the aps, and iMovie doesn't open. Is there known issues with this?

I had the "update" problem a while ago. I had moved a lot of my default apps & ilife etc. to other subdirectories of "Applications" e.g. Main, Unused etc. For some reason some apps such as ilife products don't seem to like it. When I moved them back directly under "Applications" the updates worked because it knew where to look.

That might solve it actually! My iLife apps are in a folder because i wanted them in a stack. I will take them out when i get home.
