Its more than likely the twin tuner model launch early 2008 for freesat will have componant and HDMI and I wouldnt be suprised if its going to be based on the same platform as the icordHD starting to be rolled out elsewhere in europe. The new model to replace the 9200t terrestrial PVR no one knows much about except it could make an appearance in 2008 or 2009; it was due to also be based the new platform too but I undertand that could be set for a radical change. The new update planned to the existing 9200t model actually planned for early next year is software only so hardware is the same. i suppose hard drive size options are a possibility but the majo change is different software in readiness for certain Freeview Playback features that will be concentrated on by Freeview and broadcasters.

Re: Humax - New model - inputs?

Interesting. Didn't realise the 'new' model would just be a software thing. Was anticipating some hardware changes given the HD signal. ie HDMI interface. Hmmm... Guess I'll just have to wait and see.

Thanks for that.

Joe
