Neo Subwoofer Not Responding

Hi,

I've just connected my Neo surround sound package to my Sony STR-DA1200 amp, everything looks fine apart from the fact the amp's auto-calibration doesn't seem to find my sub.

I have the sub connected via the amps subwoofer pre-out to the AV Line Subwoofer In jack. I've set the auto-standby to off (as directed) and volume is set to max for the auto-calibration, but nothing. Power is running to the sub as the power light on the back is shining nice and red.

I've tested the cable seperately and works so only thing I can think of is the amp's subwoofer pre-out is knackered.

Does anyone have this sub or sub/amp combo and perhaps know something I'm missing? The calibration is bascially step 1 after connecting everything so at this point I'm lost as to how I may have missed something out.

Next step would perhaps be to take my sub into my local Audio-T and have them test it on their kit??

In the amplifiers speaker setup menu, have you set the sub to 'yes' or 'on'?
