Orange Juice Spillage - Sticky Keyboard Keys

Hello there

Being the pillock I am, I swung my chair round to sit down and managed to knock my glass of orange juice over with the arm of the chair. It went all over my Microsoft wireless keyboard.

Now a few of my keys are very stiff. I can pour water over them which fixes the problem for aproximately 4 hours. Then they get stiff again.

Any ideas?

Jezzer

Re: Orange Juice Spillage - Sticky Keyboard Keys

take the keys out, I use a knife and clean under em. Did the same thing once with a beer.

Might wanna open a pic of a qwerty keyboard on the pc if you don't know where all the keys go back

IPA is pretty good for cleaning anything PC related [ipa = isopropyl alcohol]

Re: Orange Juice Spillage - Sticky Keyboard Keys

Cheers chaps, I gave it a go and they seem to be unsticked for now. Only time will tell whether it works longer than just pouring water over the keyboard!

Re: Orange Juice Spillage - Sticky Keyboard Keys

I wouldn't water your keyboard too much ,it could end up like this.
