Re: Help!!!!!

The output from the Sky box, the audio that is, needs to be either optical or coaxial. These sockets should be marked on the back of the sky box. If the audio output is via the two phono connectors or just scart leads then you will only get two channels. The optical socket is square and black it will be marked optical out. The coaxial socket is round and orange and will be marked coaxial out. You need a special lead for optical out, but for coaxial you can use any phono lead.

Re: Help!!!!!

Hi
I always thought you only get sound out of 2 as the channels are only broadcast in 2.1 mode, unless it is a movie or documentary which is in 5.1 then you get it out of all speakers.
This is why you get sound from dvds in 5 speakers as it is made in 5.1, and tv channels are only in 2.1 there for sound out of 2, could someone eles confirm this.
