Ipod Help

Hi everyone.I've just bought the wife a nano 3g,there isn't a disc to put software on the pc it looks like srtaight forward plug & play.The problem is my windows media player isn't picking it up,What am i doing wrong???

You need to use iTunes with iPods. www.apple.com/itunes (there are other alternatives out there if you dont like iTunes).

I'm not sure the media player is supposed to recognise Ipods. You need to download an ipod compatible application - itunes is the obvious one, from the Apple website.
