Re: Toshiba HD-EP35 Best Deals Thread
Would you like to research the after sales policy of the retailers too in case you end up with a duff one.
I'm always happy to pay a few quid more to buy from someone like AV-Sales as I know that I will be looked after in the event of having problems.

Re: Toshiba HD-EP35 Best Deals Thread
Well the bullets being bitten from tomorrow onwards.
Next sign of a stonking Player deal (10% off etc etc ) I'm ordering.
Just watched The Prestige on HD DVD.
Good film but soundtrack was a bit of a let down.
Only playing via Optical but i've heard much better on my setup with DVD's.
Am hoping that a dedicated player (allbeit only with Optical again) will bring about some minor improvements over my Add on.

Re: Toshiba HD-EP35 Best Deals Thread
Play knocked another £10 off the EP30 but the EP35 stayed as it was... fingers crossed it'll follow suit! But looking at the offers at the top of this forum, it seems they were just bringing the EP30 inline with other online sellers whereas they already are the cheapest for the EP35

Hi Nictry, will you kindly let me know what results you get with your Panny 50HD8 as I have the same plasma & I'm considering a EP35.
Thanks.

No probs although have already had an A1 and A2 rigged up to it and from a PQ perspective it is stunning, can;t really see any additional picture benefit from the EP35 TBH and I am only getting it for the sound output options that are not available with the lower end models. Will post back if anything additional though

Toshiba HD-EP30 - Tesco Offer
Right, not sure if this was put up anywhere else, but thought I would let people know that i was in my local Tesco a couple of hours ago and they had the EP-30 on sale for £199 - which isn't the greatest price perhaps but was coming with 1000 bonus clubcard points, so if you have a clubcard that is the equivalent of 10 quid back - might go and get one myself a little later.......
just thought someone might like to know......

Toshiba EP30 Onsale At Tesco
My local Tesco (Bursledon) has now started selling the Toshiba EP30 HD DVD for £199. The model is being displayed in the electrical section plus by the front entrance. The 7 disc free offer and a Tesco special of 1000 Clubcard points are being used to promote it.
Hopefully this will start getting those adoption figures up
EDIT: See Marky1973 beat me to it

My Tesco is quite a large store - perhaps they are just supplying stock to the big stores? Whatever they had a fair few - a dozen or so by the Shop Entrance and a half a dozen more in the players section. Plus they had a display model on the shelf.
