Center on Sub

Good morning.

I have just got a svs 5.1 system.
Is it ok to place the center speaker ontop of the sub.

Regards

Re: Center on Sub

Moved to subwoofer section

It may be worth mentioning which svs sub you have.

Is the sub magnetically shielded? If not you'll want to keep it well away from your screen.

Re: Center on Sub

Should be just fine a long as you take measures to stop it liding around. Auralex Mopads would work very well and let you angle the speaker.

Re: Center on Sub

No problem at all, if that's where the sub sounds best.
