EP-10 trying to upgrade to v2.5 error 2007c5c2

Hi All

Am trying to upgrade my ep-10 firmware from 2.2 to 2.5 so i can get multiregion but when i put the cd-r in the player it comes up with error 2007c5c2. After doing a search i found this to indicate that it is an incorrect firmware version.
Can someone direct me please to a working 2.5 firmware.

Or offer some advice to what i can do to get this player multi-region

Thanks
Leighster

You need to install official 2.5 firmware before the region free firmware. I got that same code on my E1 when trying to go straight to the region free firmware.

Hey mate,

I'd say you got that file from Rapidshare, and probably from my account, based on the name of the file.

However, if you check the name of the file, it says XE1, and not EP10... so, no, you don't have the proper firm for you player.

Cheers!
