Re: Anyone buy or going to buy the German HD-DVD or BR of Crank?
Very interested in getting this too. If the BluRay version is anything to go by then the quality on the HD DVD should be amazing. Just knuckles down to whether or not you like this film... hell, it's HD, buy it!!!!!

The DVD version of Crank was very good too. HD Versions should be special!

Was going to buy it on Blu-Ray until I found out that it's not being released in the UK and the US version is region locked.
This is a great find.
Are we sure the English audio is definitely DTS-HD?
Is there also a DD 5.1 English track as I still need to upgrade my amp for HD audio?
If the answer is yes to both I think I'll be picking up this baby.

Deffo English DTS-HD, I don't think it has the DD 5.1, but I thought most players would just downgrade the DTS-HD to plain old DTS.
Only thing putting me off buying it is the fairly steep price at 33 Euros on Amazon, anyone find it any cheaper?

Re: Anyone buy or going to buy the German HD-DVD or BR of Crank?
Are there any UK based importers of German HD DVD's? if not any good (English text) German websites?
Cheers,
Neil.

Amazon Germany is pretty easy to use. All the buttons are in the same place as the UK/US ones and it will pick up your address and credit card information from your UK Amazon profile.

I notice from your sig it would be the HD-DVD version you've ordered.
If this company also sell the Blu-Ray disc, I'd be interested in the name by PM too if you have a moment.

Re: Anyone buy or going to buy the German HD-DVD or BR of Crank?
I got mine today from the same place as Cooey...
Not watched it yet, but that bonus DVD label is cheeky,(it looks exactly like the disc at the start of the movie, work it out)...
