Upgrade for 1080p?

Hey. I've owned a Dell W3706MC 37" LCD TV since November 2005. I'm considering upgrading to something larger that supports 1080p as this doesn't and it also only has 1 HDMI port. I'm currently running Sky HD and a PS3 on it but would benefit from another HDMI port as my laptop has a HDMI port aswell. I could just get a splitter to solve this though. Anyway, is it worth upgrading? I watch Blu-Ray movies through the PS3 which are obviously only in 1080i when they could be in 1080p. Is there much noticeable difference between the 2? Thanks!

If you're upgrading just for the sake of having a 1080P TV, then don't bother cos you're not likely to notice any difference, but if it's for size then go for it.
