Help? trying to get freeview and Sky on Second Tv

Hope someone can help? I've scoured the Forums for a solution to no avail... I have Standard Sky in my main room with a TV with built in freeview and want to send it to another room to a new TV with built in Freeview. I've got the magic eye/ tv link gadget and connected it all up running the co ax cable from the RF2 output on the Sky through to the new TV. The co ax from my roof aerial is going into the Sky box input with the RF1 output going to my TV in that room. All works fine in the first room.

The second room receives perfect quality Freeview and Analogue however the Sky on channel 6 is extremely 'snowy'. Is the signal being lost or is their some kind of conflict going on. I have limited knowledge when it comes to all this. I did try a slightly different set up and got the Sky coming through ok on Channel 6 but no FREEVIEW and poor analogue.

Is it a case of one or the other or is this possible?

Any help would be much appreciated?

Thanks

Re: Help? trying to get freeview and Sky on Second Tv

probably cross modulation so you need to change the output frequency of the sky box to another channel. (press on remote: services; 4; 0; 1; select; 4) factory set is 68 try 69 as this is a frequency we do not transmit on in this country then retune your set, also in this menu make sure power is turned to 'on' for magiceye. the main set is ok because it is probably scarted to your tv. the way you discribed the setup initally is correct so make sure it is back like that first
