X800gto2 graphics card dvi output to lcd tv *help*

I'm new to the forum and to be honest a bit stumped by all the info I have taken in regarding hd lately having just bought a new 32" lcd.

I have a x800gto2 graphics card which has a dvi out put, I connected my pc to my tv using vga but as I understand it the vga limits the display resolution on my tv to 1280x1024.

my question is if I buy a male dvi to hdmi 5m cable and hook it up to the tv can I expect better resolution.......... my tv's native resolution of 1366x768?

My tv is a Toshiba 32C3035DB

answered my own question after downloading tv manual, as i suspected my tv res is limited on the vga input but it can display pc input via hdmi in 720p among other resolutions.

My graphics card has a dvi out put so hopefully a dvi to hdmi cable will do the trick.
