is my aegop5 dead

hi,switched it on tday,the sub was humming,then played a cd,sub sounds awful,the sats are fine,i un screwed panel and the speaker inside seems fine,help please,Pat

the sub sounds like thunder now ,maybe its picking up feedback from somthing
