Well, if it doesn't you can always bung it on eBay for a grand.
i would be happy to swap it for an lcd/plasma 1080p hdtv:grin:

got it home and gone into the settings to set it to pal analog as i have not got an hdtv yet. settings let you display the picture in 480p/480i 720p/1080i and analog pal/ntsc.
built in hdd is full of phillips adverts which play fine through my analog tv and some film clips all in 720p
it has a built in dvd rom but i can not get it to read a normal dvd and i dont think its supposed to? its got FIVE componet outs ONE hdmi out and scart and s-video SIX analog audio out and ONE digital out. it says phillips hd demonstrator across the top (sticker) and i think there used buy shops to display the adverts onto a number of lcd/plasmas in one go hence all the componet connections:confused:
after a bit more reserch on the net i belive tarakan manafacture thease then supply thease to lg,sony, phillips to use in retail outlets on there tv's.
now this is were im confused, i know you can deleat move the clips on the hdd and up date it with your own clips and in the specifications it says supported disk media cd-r and dvd-r/rw but this is a bit beyond me so will proberly box it back up and as rhubarb said but it on e-bay:(
hd tv is not going to get brought now due to going in to work to day and finding out were all being made redundant:mad: so its on e-bay if any one wants it:)
