What speakers???

I get my Pioneer DEH-P7400MP on Wednesday to go in my '91 MR2.

The speakers are stock.

If I were to replace the speakers what would you guys recommend?????

I'm after quality over loudness and I want to keep the price down to a minimum.

They don't have to be components, I'm not scared to start cutting holes :grin:

dunno how big the fronts in your MR2 are though ...


anyone else recommend anything besides Boston Acoustics?

if you have the standard mr2 headunit with the seperate amps.. id advise you get a company to fit the pioneer for you :)

oh btw.. fronts in the MR2 are 6½ inch, rears are 3nch, behind each seat is a sub (depending on what mr2 you have)

a couple of the mr2 systems i have done are

6inch componants in fronts,
4inch coax in rear
6X9's cut into sub boxs behind seats running off and amp. but cutting the 6x9's are one of the biggest headaches i ever had hehe

another was

6inch componant fronts
15inch vibe sub behind the passenger seat

that rocked hehe
