It's that time of year again when we all eat and drink too much and think back to the year that was. So in that vein we are looking for your nominations of the best discs of 2007. This is not the thread to add your opinions on how great something was, just nominate your top 3 choices in each category. These choices will then be counted and the top 10 from each will be put up for voting from the 1st of January.

Rules of voting>
For discs released 1st january to 31st December 2007. Can be any region but must be in the specific group listed. Make your nominations in a post reply to this thread and in the grouping as listed below to make counting easier. Enjoy!

I'll just do one for each category except for those involving standard DVDs as I have bought next to none this year.

Also, I'm not sure what constitutes a 'Special Edition' so I'll list two nominations for Best Blu-ray and Best HD DVD. I'll be selecting titles exclusive to either format (in the US and UK) as well except when deciding on the 'Disc of the Year'. I'll leave it to others to nominate titles that are dual-format.

why don't you seperate HD & DVD, then DVD fans can have best region discs, TV, sound , PQ , special editions, etc without HD mixing things up?
