help, no bass out of my sub anymore:(

hi

i have a sony str dg700 amp and a jamo 200 sub connect via a co-ax cable, for some reason my sub isn't producing and bass.

is there any way i can troubleshoot and find out whether its the amp or the sub to give me a fighting chance of getting it sorted?

if i remove the co ax from the back of the sub and put it back in half way it does give the bass tone.

Assuming that you've checked all the amp and subs settings are correct and unaltered by 'little people', then I'd try a new signal lead. Quality doesn't matter, just see if you can get a signal.
