Hi all.

Are there any dvd players / media players (must have dvd tray) out yet that support the H264/X264 anr / or .mkv codec's?

Also, since i have a non HDCP Dell 2405FPW screen, I would like a player that can display good quality video @ 1080I/P via component or that outputs a non hdcp signal via hdmi. Any ideas?

Thanks in advance.

There's a network players section further down the list, that will have what you're after.

I believe there are some new players out that will do that.

Wonder if connecting the XBOX HD-DVD to the Tvix 6500 or even the new NMT with the EM8634 chip (supports macrovision) would do the job?

An external drive works on the PH, you can even get the tray to eject with the remote. It wont support DVD playback of retails as the chipset is EM8635 rather than 8634 which does.
