MKV Tagging

I have a EVA8000 networked media streamer but I would like to find a way to apply a tag to a MKV file. I would like to add information on the video clip, ie genre, year, actors and that sort of thing. I would also like to add a Pictiure to the file also if possible.

Do any one know of a tool/utility that will enable me to apply tags to .mkv files.

Have you tried the tag tool supplied by Netgear? I believe it comes with the package in the setup cd!!
