Panasonic TX-32DTS3 DVB fault.

Hello.

I have a Panasonic TX-32DTS3 which was probably the last one bought in the UK - it's only about 18months old, even tho' it was discontinued in 2003, I think.

In that time, it's had a complete new DVB decoder box fitted under warranty as the previous box would lose it's stored digital channels (actually, analogue ones too!) when switched off. After re-loading the channels, we'd then have to suffer sound drop-outs (a bit as tho' someone was pressing the 'mute' button repeatedly for a fraction of a second every few seconds) for a number of hours - can you imagine how annoying that is?!

6 months after the repair, the TV has lost its stored channels again, twice in the past week. The sound drop-outs have also returned for a short time - grrr.

Ok, I have extended warranty, thank goodness, but I'm really curious as to whether this is a 'known' fault with these sets as it has come back for a second time?

Any info or advice would be gratefully received.

Thanks.
