Hooray!http://www2.r2-dvd.org/article.jsp?s...articleId=5141
At last, a disc worthy of the brilliant film itself
Does anyone know if a Region 1 special edition will
be released soon as I would like the choice to replace
my barebones R1 MGM copy?

why?

all things being equal wouldn't the PAL be better than NTSC if everything else is equal.

or is it the R2 dsitributor you have issue with?

just curious I've got the R2 on order from play

I turned this movie off But I might have to try it again now I'm a bit more mature. People are always saying what a brilliant film it is.

I'm with you on that one Ace.....I thought it was one of the most over rated films of it's era. Slow paced and uninspiring are two descriptive words.

It is a great film with plenty of snow and some shootings.

its a while since I watched it (I had it on LD). it was funny in bits but I think we're laughing at the characters rather than with them.

bunch of quirky people saying "Yah ok then!" in strange American accents that sound mildly Swedish. Couldn't understand what all the fuss was about myself.

IMDB says "The funniest film of 1996" and I agree.

for a time IMDb also listed the three lead actors of Blair Witch Project as dead thinking it was based on real footage... doesn't mean I believe them
