Wanted Epson/Ask lamp to test projector

I have inherited an old ASK A4 compact projector that takes the Epson ELPLP06 lamp. The projector is lampless, and possibly has a duff HT power supply (the LCD panels work OK).

What I am looking for is an old but still functioning lamp to test the projector (I'm not bothered if its dim and on its last legs).

I thought of sending it in for repair, but the minimum charge seems to be about £80+vat just to tell me where it is knackered, and it would not be worth while repairing both the power supply and buying a new lamp.

I would also be interested in suggestions on how I can test the HT supply (other than buy a lamp), or if anyone knows of someone who would be willing sell a lamp on condition that the projector works.
