View Full Version : Clear and Present danger Audio Bug??
Hi there just bought clear and present danger (harrison Ford film) and I have a problem with he DVD on my PC.
At 1:14:49 harrison says a line and I have lots of crackling noises in that particular line. I have the UKR2.
Has anyone the same problem. Shall I try to exchange it??
It is recurent so no software/hardware problem.

I just got a second copy and exactly the same problem.
The funny thing: on the hungarian track everything is fine. and the polnish trck, which is just the english trck with a bloke translating it there is no problem with the sound. So it is a problem with the master.
Oh well it's only for a second

Bad transfer then mate.
I have a couple of disks like that. No glitch at all on the foreign DD5.1 soundtracks, but a glitch or two on the English DD5.1 soundtrack. Very annoying but not much you can do about it :(
You can usually tell if it's a faulty disk or not because if it is and you get audio corruption, you'll also get a bit of video corruption at the same point.

I have just put it on in stereo to try it for you and there is no problem on my disc, there is some background noise but that is part of the film i.e. electronic equipment being used by the CIA this is round the lines 'Morning Rose' to 'You look nice today'.
Hope this puts you mind at rest.
