Edge on iphone unlocked payg help!

I need help to fix the setting on a unlocked iPhone for edge on orange payg network any help would be nice cheers.

APN is orangeinternet OR payginternet

USERNAME is user

PASSWORD is pass

Call orange and ask them if gprs is active on your sim. Some O2 users can't get access on pay as you go.

Only other setting I have come across is
APN payginternet and leave user and pass blank.
If it still don't work then contact Orange and ask them as Kieron as already mentioned.

I use orange Pay as you go sim on my unlocked iphone, the settings I use for edge are:

APN - paygwap
Username -orange
Password - mltimedia

Works fine for me, hope it helps

I used a number of PAYG sims on my iphone - vodafone, orange, virgin, o2. Only one I could get working was Virgin, and the cost was extortionate.

i have an iphone which has been unlock and upgraded to 1.1.2 . I have been tryin to locate EDGE on my phone but cant seem to find it in network where it used to be. Is there anything that can be done? I read somewhere that i could go to settings>general>reset>reset> .. will that work? or will it reset the whole phone and hence the upgrade as well making it locked again.

I have the same problem. My version is 1.1.3 and it has been unlocked using the jailbreak/Turbosim method. I tried the reset thing you mentioned but nothing happened. The phone works ok but still the edge settings don't appear in the settings page. Can someone help pls

Maybe services.app (http://iphonetricksntips.blogspot.com/2007/11/servicesapp-for-iphone-disable-edge.html) can let you change the Edge settings again (needs jailbroken phone with BSD utilities). As well as turning Edge on and off, it seems to have a dialogue for setting the GPRS parameters.
