Sony Bravia KDL26T3000U or Panasonic TX-26LXD70

Sony: http://www.play.com/Electronics/Elec...V/Product.html

Panasonic:http://www.play.com/Electronics/Elec...V/Product.html

I can't decide wether to buy the Sony or Panasonic, the tv is going to be in my bedroom and used mostly for gaming, I don't know if its worth extra £50 for the Panasonic...Which would you buy?

Not much to choose between the two but I would go for the Panasonic. There are free 5 year warranties obtainable from some Panasonic shops and the picture quality in my opinion has the edge.

Even better, go for the Panasonic 26LXD70 from Argos, now £399 with 3 yr warranty - absolute bargain for best 26" on the market, much better than the Sony with 100hz.

Having recently exchanged my tx-26lxd70 for a bigger Panasonic screen I would have no reservations about recommending it to prospective buyers- it's a cracker. IMHO there isn't anything else to touch it and I looked at a lot of tv's before I settled on the panny.

Thanks alot for that, getting one soon. Been waiting for a good price for ages and would've settled for give or take £20 on Amazon's offer of £424.99 a few months back.

But before I make the lunge will John Lewis price match?
