Talking PJ Hi Fi - Still got great taste in PJ's

Hi guys,

Well I just wanted to say a massive thank you for your continued support of the MIGHTY CRT projector, Still the WORLDS best projectors.

In particular the BARCO CRT that appears in your latest PJ advert.

Pity to mention the new JVC / Sony as well but I guess you gotta offer something to those that follow fashion .

Hope you guys are well, Look forward to viewing your next contender to the throne and nope, Ive not gone grey yet .

Andy you probably know that i'm as big a CRT fan as anyone but I had to admit on my first viewing of the JVC RS1(or HD1 over there?) that it was a fantastic machine. I don't want to get into a big debate, The RS1 has it's flaws but I thoguht the pic was very, very good. The only thing about it that really freaks me out and would keep me away is the longevity and non-repairability of this technlogy. Otherwise the small size, whisper quiet, and 2.35:1 CIH capability were all big pluses in addition to the great pic.

Re: PJ Hi Fi - Still got great taste in PJ's

I went to PJ Hi Fi to see the JVC demo of the RS1 / HD1.

They are great guys .

It was AFTER the demo that Elliot from PJ Hi Fi decided to have some fun and DELIBERATLY miss quote me saying "Im gonna sell my Barcos and buy a JVC" or words to that effect............

He knew one day I would get even..........

When I saw the Barco in the demo room picture I couldn't resist .

Daily I work with digital projection systems, for me CRT is still the king.........

Re: PJ Hi Fi - Still got great taste in PJ's

Hi Elliot,

Cine9 here now - Well a family of em

I look forward to the new year

PS - If you need to borrow HD SDI output devices my modified Blur Ray player is on route and im looking at a newer HD DVD player too, Im undecided if my XA1 HD SDI unit can be improved on.

Im glad to see digital and CRT can co exist in a friendly place . Ive always believed that. After all half my system these days is digital the better half is of course still.............
