Do expensive AV racks actually make a difference?
Hi
I need something to house my Quad 909/99 CDP and am just wondering whether an expensive av rack actually makes any difference. Will just sticking them on well constructed shelves or on a high street deck actually cause the sound to deterioate? Thanks |

Re: Do expensive AV racks actually make a difference?
I am biased but some IMHO do make a difference to the sound. I do however think looks are just as important.

Thanks. I see you are a merchant. Could you suggest something?requirements are 1) Needs to house amp, cd player, spare slot in case I add tuner, sky box and allow a small lcd tv to sit on top 2) Its going in the 'for best' room of the house with expensive sofas etc in it. Its a period style room with high ceilings, nice fireplace etc. It should either look like a period piece of furniture to match or ultra modern to contrast. Thanks ![]() |
