SKY and iMac

Hi

Got new iMac with Leopard and tried to connect my SKY broadband over wireless network. It finds the network fine (SKY12345) but when I put the SSID key in password, it doesnt recognise. What password do i need to put? SKY tech support was totally unhelpful as they did not seem to have a clue.

Thanks
A

Re: SKY and iMac

When entering the Encryption Key into your Airport your Mac requires you to enter a $ sign in front of it.

It's a well-known fact - to me. If you want a real laugh. I did this for a customer last week who had been on the phone for hours - to Apple!

Re: SKY and iMac

Just got my SKY BB router etc through the post, should be connected on Tuesday, i am going to connected wired to the PC and wireless to the iMAC. Did you guys just plug the router in and let the computers do the rest or insert the CD?

Is there any benefit to inserting the CD, i know that you have a hib manager with BT do you have the same with SKY.
