About time too. Good on you avforums, Ive been looking to replace my showcenter with something a bit more meaty.

Agreed, but I you had ever spent some time trying to find info on this kind of kit you would have realised that there isn't anywhere it fits into, which results in posts all over the place.
As Im in the market for a new netwrok streamer, this forum may be a godsend.
Im surprised some of the posts in the other forums haven't been moved over to this forum though.

Hopefully people will realise and start using it in time, it's such a fast growing market now. For example, Apple TV posts were appearing all over and there was not forum that specifically catered for this kind of device.
There are two new related forums - one for music streamers (which relevant posts have been moved into from the old MP3 forum by myself) and one for video streamers (other mods will need to take care of moving stuff there). There seems to be much more interest in Music streamers though. Although most Video streamer play music too, that not usually their primary functions and often not very good at audio - although there will probably be some confusion.

This forum is video streamers, theres another for music streamers.

Yeah, Audio streamers and Video streamers still seem to be two distinct areas, although it is fuzzy. Most video streamers do audio but they are completely pants for it.

yep I agree I've looked all over trying to gleen info on the best media streamer and this looks like its going to be easier to find the facts and make up my mind:clap:
