Just noticed on play that Robin Hood - Complete series 1 is out soon on HD-DVD.

Looks like to the BBC are really starting to embrace the whole High Def era.

I hope they hurry up & release Hustle - Series 4 on HD-DVD.

Got the Blu-Ray today and it plays back fine on my US PS3

Which either suggests that its not 1080/50i or that the PS3 doesnt require a firmware update to playback this, and hopefully 25p as well.

EDIT - actually its 1080i/59.94
