Problem with Windows folder - 25GB !!

Running windows XP at work on a server based system, have a 38GB hard disk which is currently nearly full - have about 200MB left.

Have about 9Gig in my Outlook folder but main culprit seems to be the Windows Folder which is telling me currently is at 25gig - colleagues are betwen 3 and 7 gig on various machines, had a look in the folder, lots of files but not enough to add up to that amount.

Any ideas would be greatfully recieved

Holy moly! 25gb! What the hell have you got in there?!

I'd suggest showing hidden files and system files. I just checked mine and it's around 4GB.

Maybe you've accidently installed programs to C:\Windows instead of C:\Program Files?

Show all hidden files and then press F3 on the windows folder and that will bring up the search option, search for files and enter *.* then sort the search by file size. You should be able to find your large files that way.

get hold of CCleaner - free. reboot machine, run ccleaner. Check space.
report back.
