Sony cdx-505rf multichanger

Hi, just got a car with the sony cdx-505rf in the boot with a Sony RM-X57 controller and remote. I can load the cds into the changer and know theres power there but the display on the remote controller doesnt seem to work /display . Am i missing something in relation to getting it working ie something as daft as an on switch ? On the net iv'e read that there is a reset switch on the cd chnger but i can't damn well find that either . HELP!

I couldn't find any info on this particular machine other than it may work on FM? Have you checked all the connections and is there a battery on the controller (sorry I can't even picture what it looks like!)?
You might be able to get a replacement controller on ebay etc. as I'm sure it turned up there on a search.

Obviously you could just add another CD changer to the car by buying an interface and a new changer. See here. Obviously there are other options such as ipod or just get a new headunit etc.

Edit: The reset switch might just be a small hole somewhere, where you can stick a pin or paper clip. Sorry, can't be of any more help!!
