I am about to install a 9500 PRO
My PSU is only rated at 225W.
I have:
40GB Deskstar
Pioneer DVD
Ricoh CRW
Floppy drive
Will it work or kill the PSU?
Depends on the CPU and HSF, even if the're lowpower I still think its a bit close to the mark though!

CPU is 1GHZ Athlon, on KT7A mobo.
The 9500 PRO is working but I think I'll get a 350W enermax anyway.
Now if I could just change the refresh rate on the radeon, which is locked at 60hz before my head explodes!!!!!!!
P.S. The fan on my 9500 Pro is virtually silent. I had to put my fingers under the fan to make sure it was actually working. Must have a lucky fan.
Refresh rate being locked is probably either the monitor or the monitor driver, try selecting the Sony GDW900 monitor and you'll get all widescreen reolutions and refresh rates, otherwise you're going to need powerstrip if its anything non-standard.
