Need help with Ford Focus (2007) head deck

Hi there, this is my first post, so sorry if I'm doing anything wrong or whatnot.

Basically, I bought a brand new Ford Focus CS(Australian base model) last week, and I've found the headeck to be...well, crap.
I'm looking to replace it with a nice double din head deck, but it looks like I'll be needing a facia and an adapter for the wiring.

My problem is that it seems that the deck in the Australian version of the Focus(pictures below) is different to that of the of the UK/Euro one, so I'm not having much luck with info on this deck.
First off; how do I get this thing out?
Second; does anyone know where I can get a facia that will let me install a double din head deck...I've had a bit of a look around and the ones I've found don't look to be big enough.

Has anyone had experience with this deck before?

Thanks in advance!

Re: Need help with Ford Focus (2007) head deck

Hi there are four rectangle holes one at each corner of the unit, there are many different types of extraction tools for the job though, but maybe specific for ford, its like a long piece of thinnish metal which is sometimes raised in certain parts to push down a smallish metal type spring fasterer, without the right tool it can be sometimes very difficult to get out without damage (for obvious reasons).

Any good car audio dealer will take out the unit for free and sell you a double din fitment or sell you a double to single facia.

I think even halfords and motorworld (also everywhere) sell these facias now, a quick google search should find one near you ). But imagine halfords will definitely have the tool, though they may charge.
autoleads make them for just about every car

Well being in Australia we don't have Halfords or Motorworld...I guess I'll have a look at some of the car audio places around here see if they can help me out.
Have you any idea where I'd be able to get the extraction tools from?

Thanks for your help!

Hi you have probably worked this out already , but im sure any decent Ford dealership or garage should have some of these tools around or i would have thought they are a part which can be bought very cheap , you would only need two really, and pull one side out first , then other,

Thought you were here in sunny britain

regards
