Abandoned to the sea.

Work and other time consuming stuff meant that the only time I could get to the place where this was taken was on Sunday evening, just as the light was failing.

These boats have been left to literally fall apart into the sea (or mud if you prefer !) I'm guessing they've been there for some time..

Mods - It's been a long day - any chance of renaming the thread with Abandoned instead of Adandoned !!!

Great light and I like the orange rust you can just about make out on the boats. Thing is there's not really a lot of the subject that you can see, infact I had trouble just locking my eyes on to the boat. Getting in close and amongst the boats would have made a massive difference to this shot.

Re: Abandoned to the sea.

Thanks for the comments.

I agree that the boats tend to blend into the background, and each other but I couldn't get that much closer because of the foul smelling mud that they are in !! ( I suppose I should suffer for the art )

Time to get a longer zoom lens I think..

As the light was failing when I got there, I didn't have too long, so probably rushed this a little bit.
