Do I need a router?

If I get Virgin Broadband I see it says you get a modem with the package, is this a router modem to allow multiple computers to connect, or do I need to buy a separate router? 4 PCs to connect, wireless if possible.

I only received a modem (motorola)

you will need a cable wireless router and if the pcs do not have built in wi-fi then you will need 4 wireless adapters.
